Terms and Conditions for Collect Corner SL Services
1. General Information:
1.1 These terms and conditions govern the use of the parcel collection services provided by Collect Corner SL (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “Collect Corner”).
1.2 By subscribing to Collect Corner services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Parcel Drop-Off, Collection and Usage:
2.1 Collect Corner provides personal and business subscription based services whereby clients can ship their parcels to its address and pick up during our opening hours.
2.2 Monthly (€30) and Annual (€199) subscriptions are provided for personal use only. We offer annual subscriptions to registered businesses (€500). Collect Corner reserves the right to cancel any personal subscriptions which appear to be used for business or commercial purposes.
2.3 Our service is sold on a recurrently monthly or annual basis with automatic renewals. Clients can stop recurring payments at any time from their account or by giving us notice before the next renewal date.
2.4 A monthly subscription allows for 25 parcel movements (a combination of deliveries and returns) monthly. Annual subscribers benefit from 300 parcel movements per calendar year, whereas business accounts have 400 included in their annual subscription. Thereafter clients can purchase additional bundles of 10 parcels for €10 (for monthly accounts), or 50 parcels for €50 or multiples as necessary until the next subscription renewal.
2.5 The personal subscription is for the account holder’s use. A second named person from the same household may be able to collect parcels on their behalf. Any additional members of the same household will need additional subscriptions.
2.6 Business subscriptions are exclusively for professional use, therefore just post/parcels addressed to the business will be accepted. If employees would like to benefit from our service, we will be delighted to welcome them as personal subscribers at a discounted rate.
2.7 It is your/the courier companies responsibility to ensure that parcels are securely packaged and properly labelled with the full address details of Collect Corner and any appropriate tracking information.
2.8 Parcels must comply with any size and weight restrictions specified by Collect Corner (1 metre wide by 2 metres high) and/or delivery service. Please enquire for acceptance of oversized items and any extra charges that might apply.
3. Parcel Collection and Identification:
3.1 Parcels can be collected from Collect Corner by presenting a valid QR code which is emailed to the account holder each time a parcel is received. It is the clients responsibility to safeguard the QR code when passing it to anyone else.
3.2 If someone other than the intended recipient collects the parcel on their behalf, the account holder needs to notify Collect Corner via email or WhatsApp prior to collection, with the full name of the person collecting on their behalf. We will take a photograph of the ID/passport, and this will be included in the notification of collection sent to the account holder. If the names do not match we will not release the parcel(s).
3.3 Collect Corner reserves the right to refuse parcel collection if the required identification or authorisation is not provided or if there are any concerns about fraudulent activity.
4. Collect Corner Liability:
4.1 Collect Corner will exercise reasonable care and take necessary precautions to ensure the security and safekeeping of parcels within our premises.
4.2 However, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of parcels that may occur during transit or while in our possession, unless caused by our negligence.
4.3 You are advised to obtain appropriate insurance or declare the value of your parcels to the shipping carrier to safeguard against loss or damage. Collect Corner is fully insured. Items above 2000 Euros need to be declared.
5. Storage and Collection Period:
5.1 Collect Corner will notify you via email when your parcels have been received. These must be collected within 30 days from delivery or for the duration of the subscription for Monthly subscribers. For Annual Plan subscribers, if longer time is required then please enquire for rates.
5.2 Failure to collect parcels within the contracted period will result in additional storage fees based on our monthly rates, and/or the parcel(s) being returned to the sender.
5.3 If your subscription has expired and we continue to receive your parcels, we will charge you a minimum of one month’s additional subscription. If this continues we reserve the right to refuse/reject acceptance of delivery of parcels or release parcels until payment is received.
6. Prohibited Items:
6.1 Collect Corner prohibits the acceptance and handling of certain items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable goods, live animals, and fragile items. It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not attempt to send such items through our facility.
6.2 Deliveries have to be via professional delivery companies. Personal hand deliveries are not permitted.
7. Post only services
We offer a ‘post only’ service which allows customers to subscribe and have their post, i.e. envelopes, directed to our address. Monthly subscribers are limited to 15 letters per month and annual subscribers to 150 per 365 days.
Please note that parcels are excluded from this service and a parcel collection subscription is required if you wish to receive boxes/parcels.
An invoice of 10 Euros (for monthly subscribers) or 79 Euros (for annual clients) will be sent to any post clients who receive any parcels and it will automatically upgrade their subscription to full service. No exceptions apply.
8. Key holding services
We offer a key holding service via a monthly or annual subscription.
Keys can be safely stored at our premises and will be made available to customers (and/or authorised third parties) when the valid QR code is presented.
Key collection is available 24/7, at no extra charge during our normal opening hours. A call out charge will apply outside of these hours as follows:
- Between 7pm and 11pm on weekdays and between 2pm and 11pm on Saturdays, a call out charge of €50 will apply (SotoEats can also help during these hours).
- Between 11pm and 9am and all day Sundays and Bank Holidays, a call out charge of €100 will apply.
9. DHL Service Point:
8.1 Collect Corner is a DHL Service Point. These Terms & Conditions do not apply to DHL. By sending a parcel via DHL Parcel or DHL Express you are contracting directly with DHL and bound by their Terms & Conditions. By sending or collecting a DHL parcel you will receive notifications directly from DHL, including tracking information. You can contact DHL directly via the details provided in such notifications.
10. Privacy and Data Protection:
10.1 We will handle your personal and business information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your data for the purposes of providing the service.
11. Amendments and Termination:
11.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through appropriate channels.
11.2 We may terminate or suspend Collect Corner services at our discretion, with reasonable notice provided to affected customers.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cadiz, Spain.
