Renewing an Irish passport from abroad is generally straightforward, but the process and supporting documents required will depend on the type of application.

- In-store assistance: €50

Children, first-time passports, name changes and other non-standard applications
- In-store assistance: €100
- Remote assistance: €125
All Collect Corner services must be paid for in advance.
Irish Passport Service fees, delivery charges, photographs, printing and courier costs are not included in our assistance fees.

Depending on your application, we can:

- Check that your details have been entered correctly
- Help you upload your digital passport photograph
- Guide you through payment of the official Irish Passport Service fee
- Explain which supporting documents are required
- Help you prepare any identity, consent or witness forms
- Check your documents before they are sent
- Help you prepare a DHL shipment if original documents must be submitted
You will be responsible for checking and approving all the information before your application is submitted.
Official Irish passport fees
At the time of writing, the Passport Online fees are:
- Standard adult 10-year passport: €75
- Large adult 10-year passport: €105
- Child passport: €20
An additional delivery charge applies to applications made from outside Ireland. Official fees can change and will be confirmed on the Passport Online website when you apply.
Passport photographs
Irish online passport applications require a suitable digital photograph.
We can recommend a local photographer in Sotogrande who is familiar with digital passport photograph requirements.
If you are applying remotely, you will need to arrange a compliant digital photograph locally and send us the digital file or photograph code.
The Irish Passport Service makes the final decision regarding whether a photograph is acceptable.
Children’s applications
Applications for children normally require an Identity and Consent Form to be printed and witnessed. The consent of all relevant guardians may also be required.
We can help you complete the online application, prepare the form and understand the witnessing and supporting-document requirements.
First-time and other non-standard applications
First-time passports, lost, stolen or damaged passports, name changes and other non-standard applications may require additional forms, witnessed signatures and original supporting documents.
We will review the requirements with you and help you prepare your application. You will need to provide all the original documents required by the Irish Passport Service.
Printing and sending documents
If Collect Corner prints any forms, payment confirmations or supporting documents, a printing fee of €1 per page applies.
When original documents must be sent to the Irish Passport Service, we can help you prepare a DHL shipment. DHL and any other courier charges are paid separately.
Remote clients must have access to a printer for any forms that need to be signed or witnessed.
Receiving your passport at Collect Corner
You can choose to have your new passport and any returned documents delivered to Collect Corner.
- Receiving fee: €10 per item delivered
- Address confirmation letter: €5
The €5 letter is issued by Collect Corner to confirm your address in Spain and is required for the application.
Your passport and supporting documents may arrive in separate deliveries. The €10 receiving fee applies to each item delivered.
All fees must be paid before our address details and confirmation letter are provided.
If you prefer to apply yourself
You are very welcome to complete your own application and use only the Collect Corner services you require.
We can still help you with:
- Printing forms or supporting documents for €1 per page
- Checking and preparing your documents
- Preparing a DHL shipment when original documents need to be sent
- Receiving your new passport or returned documents for €10 per item delivered
- Providing the required Spanish address confirmation letter for €5
All services must be arranged and paid for in advance.
